Care Instructions

Brass Spoons

After washing or getting wet, dry afterwards to avoid water marks.

To clean metal, use washing up liquid and a soft toothbrush to gently scrub under warm running water.

For very light blemishes or dulling, buff gently with a soft microfibre cloth.

For heavier blemishes, combine the juice of half a lemon with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and stir until it becomes a paste. Apply the paste with a soft cloth. Let sit for 30 minutes then rinse with warm water and hand dry immediately. Repeat if necessary. You can even use ketchup! Apply a layer to your brass and leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash with warm water and soap and hand dry immediately. Alternatively use a branded polish such as Brasso.

These spoons are made for what they are specified for. Do not bend or use for heavy lifting as this will weaken the rivets. They will last a lifetime if taken care of!

Jewellery

For brass jewellery, do the same as above.
For all jewellery, avoid chemicals and heavy perfumes.
